A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise you on a return visit or remember a setting between page loads. Similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, browser fingerprints, pixel tags, web beacons — do related things, and are covered by this policy where applicable.
None. altvale.com is a static marketing site. It does not set first-party cookies, does not use localStorage or sessionStorage, and does not write any persistent client-side state.
If this changes — for example, if we add a preference toggle or an analytics tool — this section will list each cookie or storage key by name, purpose, lifetime, and provider, and the site will display a consent banner before any non-essential storage is written. Strictly-necessary storage (e.g. a "you dismissed this banner" flag) does not require consent under most jurisdictions, but will still be listed here when used.
None. altvale.com does not load fonts, scripts, frames, or images from third-party domains in a way that would let those parties set cookies or fingerprint your browser. Fonts are self-hosted; license attribution is in the NOTICE file at the site root.
If we ever embed a third-party widget — a video, a form, a chat surface — this section will name the provider, link to that provider's cookie disclosures, and require your consent before the embed loads.
KruxOS runs locally on your machine. It does not set cookies in the conventional web sense, and the cookie surface of altvale.com does not extend to the KruxOS application.
KruxOS may write configuration, state, and credentials to your local filesystem. Those are not cookies, are not transmitted off your machine by KruxOS itself, and are documented in the KruxOS documentation rather than here. See the Privacy Policy for what KruxOS does and does not transmit.
Because we do not set any, there is nothing to control through this site at present. If you visit altvale.com with cookies disabled, every page works as designed.
In general, you can review and clear cookies through your browser's privacy or storage settings. Most major browsers also support per-site exceptions and Global Privacy Control / "Do Not Track" signals. Those signals are not binding under any current law we operate under, but we will respect them as a do-not-collect indicator if and when we ever introduce optional analytics.
Material changes to this policy will be accompanied by a revised Effective date in the header and a bump to the version number. For changes that introduce new cookies or new categories of storage, a banner will appear on altvale.com for at least the first thirty (30) days after publication.
The most recent version of this policy is always at altvale.com/legal/cookies.html.
